Vallon provided the team with Heron Glacier glasses to protect our eyes on the ice. With each pair of glasses they make, Vallon undertake four sustainability initiatives.

  • Since 2020, we've partnered with certified plastic-recovery programs to fund the collection of ocean-bound plastic.

    For every pair sold, we fund the recovery of 1kg of plastic waste, of which any recyclable materials are re-used. This program is tracked and independently audited by CleanHub.

  • In 2023, we sought to create our most sustainable sunglasses yet. We now have 4 models of sunglasses that feature frames made of 85% recycled fishing nets.

  • 2023 marked the beginning of a new partnership with Boris Herrmann and Team Malizia, the team who famously sailed Greta Thunberg on her carbon-free voyage across the Atlantic.

  • We do our part not to contribute to the plastic problem, which is why all our products are delivered plastic free in our VALLON box.

Pelican donated a PeliAir Case to protect and store our camera equipment in.

  • As Peli continues to participate in initiatives that support sustainable operations, philanthropic efforts, and ethics and compliance, we feel it is important to link our sustainability strategy to global efforts- particularly the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which were developed to create a more peaceful, just, and healthier planet by 2030.
